FAIR TRADE

RETAILING

KENYA

Students gain real-world experience of setting up US-based fair trade shops with African artists and designers. They’ll start the tour learning from the Maasai Tribe’s early jewelry-making techniques, before heading to Nairobi to engage in workshops with local artisans. Working on marketing, pricing and emphasizing the pieces themselves, students will bring back various artifacts to sell within their school’s local co-op.
